Hi, I'm Tim Trotter, and today I'm going to show you to make your keyboard on your Mac make musical sounds. This is actually pretty easy sense all Mac's come with GarageBand and that's what we're going to use today. Here's how, once you get GarageBand opened up, make sure you have something like a piano track created, for our example here, we've already created one. To get your keys making musical sounds or tones, go up to the top bar here, under window and then musical typing, you'll notice this interface gets brought up here that looks a lot like the keys on a piano. You'll also notice that they correlate to the keys on your keyboard and when selected or pushed they make sound. Pretty simple, also you can set it up to play something like a soundboard or with noises, for this example we've already set it up for comedy noises, go ahead and select it and hit the solo button here, go ahead and hit your keys. And it's as simple as that. Hopefully that helps you, if you want to make your keyboard on your Mac make music sounds or use it as a soundboard. Thanks for watching.
