Hi, this is Dorangela Bobet, founder of Two Prince Bakery Theater. Today, I want to share a recipe for mac and cheese for gluten intolerance. We will begin with three cups of uncooked pasta that is gluten-free. I prefer to do the traditional elbow shaped macaroni but you can use whichever one you like and we're going to go ahead and already cook that per package instructions. Next we're going to need one cup of shredded cheese. I prefer sharp cheddar that's already been grated. We're going to need one tablespoon of butter, a quarter cup of milk and half a tablespoon of gluten-free flour to make our sauce. We will season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste and a pinch of nutmeg. Set your stove top to medium heat and we're going to add our butter now to melt it. Start stirring this up and when you get the butter nice and melted you can start adding your gluten-free flour to cook it. We'll let it go a little bit longer. Be careful not to set it too high because you don't want to burn your butter and it burns really quickly so just try to have it not too high of a heat. I'm going to add in my gluten-free flour. So get the butter and the flour nicely cooked together and incorporated so you don't get that raw flour taste when you are eating the sauce and now we're going to add our milk. So turn it down a little bit to low so we don't burn it. That's going really good. Now we can add our shredded cheese. Continue to stir to incorporate it into a nice sauce. Slowly fold it all in together. Now we can turn off the stove and just mix it all in. Now that we've gotten the sauce mixed in with the pasta we are ready to add our seasonings. Salt to taste, some fresh ground pepper, and I always like to put a pinch of nutmeg in my macaroni and cheese. Get that mixed in all nice and even to get all the flavors distributed. Okay now we're ready to serve. And here you have it, gluten-free macaroni and cheese. Enjoy.
