Hi, I'm Christie Vega-Gluch from Phoenix Cake Company, and I'm going to show you how to make fondant spaghetti. Yes, very interesting, fondant spaghetti. You're going to start with some fondant, you can ether soften this in the microwave for a few seconds, don't nuke it too long, I would do it in about 3 second increments and you want to make sure you're going to watch this, it's going to be hot when you get it out so be very careful. You can also work in a little vegetable shortening, to soften it as well. You want to get this nice and soft because we're going to use this in a clay extruder, you can get these at a craft supply store, usually you can get, probably in the sculpty section, that's where you can find these. We're going to load the extruder with the, your softened fondant and depending on how thin you want your spaghetti, you're going to put the appropriate tip size on the top. This actually screws off and you can use different disks depending on what you want. They have, they come in different sizes, kind of go with a little stringy angel hair look, so once you load that in, you actually want load this in as much as you can, that way you don't have to keep reloading it. So, before we push that in all the way, this is just a little cup cake that I cut the top off. This is cute little dessert too that you can do. And this is just butter cream icing, so you want a small little tip, this is actually going to help make it look like spaghetti, it's going to fill it out without you having to pipe tons of fondant on there and you want to be just kind of a erratic movement here and there. And you want to maybe pull the bag up a little bit, so once that's loaded with your butter cream, you're going to use the clay extruder. How fun is that? You just want to pull that up, you just pinch that off with your finger and you could just keep loading that up and you can add this, depending on how big of a mound you want. Once you get it to where you want it, you can add these littler fondant, or I'm sorry, these are little candy truffles, they look like meatballs and these are already premade, these are just little candies you buy in the store, put those on top, you get a little raspberry preserve, you want to thin that down, you can nuke this or add a little bit of water to it. Okay, so once the raspberry preserves is thinned down just put this over the top. Oh my gosh, look at that, this is awesome. This is a neat idea for kids too. Okay, so there's your sauce. Okay and then for a finishing touch, so it looks like grated Parmesan. This is alright. And then a nice finishing touch with grated white chocolate, you can use candy melts as well. And there you go.
