Hi, my name is Terina Gillette and I'm a professional event coordinator, and today we are at the Christmas Place Inn located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. And we are going to talk about how to securely add your tree topper on your beautiful Christmas tree this season. Whenever you have a fabric bow or a Christmas tree topper the question always comes up about how to make sure it doesn't fall off of the top of your tree. There's a couple of different solutions to that problem. We can use a chenille stem or a pipe cleaner to wrap around our bow so we can secure it to the stems of the Christmas tree branches. Or you can also use floral wire to do the exact same thing. Floral wire comes mostly in green. You can order special colors. So if you have a white flocked Christmas tree like we have just make sure if you use the green wire that you hide it down into the branches. All that we are going to do is take the very tip of our tree. We are going to bend our bow back. Make sure you have long enough tails on your wire pieces. And we are going to wrap in and out. You are also going to twist and tie one simple twist and another simple twist. You want to do at least two twists. You don't want to do to many twists because when you get ready to take your Christmas tree down you might get it wrapped up into the branches and forget how many times you twisted it. So make sure you count how many times you twist your bows. Alright and then you want to make sure you just kind of finagle your topper or your bow around to look pretty on your Christmas tree and finish decorating. If you have any types of wire left out that's showing make sure you tuck those in the branches and wrap them around securely. And that's how you make sure that you have a beautiful Christmas tree topper this season.
