Hi, my name is Coryanne Ettiene, and today I’m going to be showing you how to make a lime sherbert punch. Growing up in Arizona, all of our food was influenced by Hispanic undertones. So, when I saw a recipe for lime sherbet punch, I thought immediately of my all-time favorite tipple, the Margarita. I’m going to be using lime sherbet punch, a little bit of lemon lime soda, some lime mineral water, and of some fresh lime juice, accented with a little bit of fresh coriander leaves. First thing you want to do is add in one part of lime sherbet. There are really no rules of the ingredients, as long as you remember that you have one part of lime sherbet to three parts of liquid, whether you’re using alcohol , or non-alcoholic beverages. Once you’ve added the one part of the lime sherbet, add a little bit of lemon lime soda. It gives it a little bit of sweet, and that bubbly taste that you’re looking for in your sherbet. One part lemon lime soda, and then a little bit of this lime Italian water. Now, what I love about lime Italian mineral water is that not only does it have less sugar than the soda, it also offers a real tartness that you can’t get in a lemon lime soda. Give everything one stir before adding just a splash of lime juice. I love it when it fizzes like that – it means you’ve got something great brewing. I like to use a little bit of lime concentrate into my lime sherbet punch, only because it gives it a real natural taste. Just about a tablespoon to what I’ve used here, but really nothing more than a quarter-cup, because what you don’t want is a very bitter drink. Once you have your ingredients together, freshly chop a little bit of cilantro. Rub it together in your hands so that the essential oils from the herb kind of release into your drink, and give it one more stir. Now, again, if you’re making this an alcoholic beverage, this would be a great time to add that all-important tequila. Pour your lime sherbet into a party drink, and serve. My name is Coryanne Ettiene, wishing your party packs a punch.
