This video will show you how to freeze mashed potatoes. Rinse potatoes in the sink thoroughly, then peel with a potato peeler and rinse again. Slice three to four potatoes into small chunks and fill a pot with water. Turn a burner on high and place the pot on the burner, next add the potatoes and salt and boil for 15 to 20 minutes then drain into a colander. Add to a mixer along with one tablespoon of butter, then mix blend until smooth. Add the mix to a freezer bag and partly seal the bag, move the mix to the bottom of the bag and remove excess air then completely seal. This is how to freeze mashed potatoes.
