Hi, I'm Jasmin Grimm, the founder of Ruby, Inc. We inspire women to realize their worth is far above rubies and this personal styling business boosts your confidence, saves you time and money and teaches you how to dress for your body types. Today we're at That Shoe Girl Boutique to each you how to dress when you are seeking a job in your 20s. Since you are soon to be a college grad, money is probably tight. Still it's important to make a great first impression in the workforce. Fortunately for you, your 20s are a great time to take risks. Now is the time to build a solid foundation for long-term style. You'll want to invest in the following key pieces, trousers, blazers, pencil skirts, white button-ups, silk blouses, simple cardigans, dresses, pumps and a structured bag. You'll be able to take any of these key pieces and mix and match them together for any day of your internship or for your new job. Here's a few rules that you'll want to follow. Skip the flip flops. They scream college freshman. Avoid showing too much cleavage, never ever show your tummy, don't wear anything see through and please, cover up your bra straps. When you are in your 20s, it's important to remember that anything can be mixed and matched. A suit can be anything from skinny jeans and a fitted blazer to a denim pencil skirt and cropped jackets. Look for Oxford shirts with feminine details and then mix them with masculine basics and if your office lets you wear jeans, please toss your ripped ones aside and instead, look for dark wash, boot cut trouser jeans. Finally, I'm Jasmine Grimm, and I just taught you how to dress for the workplace.
