Hello out there, this is your girl, Alex, and today I'm going to talk a little bit about sequence dance steps. Basically sequence dance steps is when a dancer or couples do a similar sequence around the floor and they begin it the same way the end it. So basically it will just go over and over and over as a simple sequence. So one example of a sequence dance step is the waltz box step. So basically for the waltz box step you will start it the same way that you ended it and you will end it the same way that you started it. For example, for the box, the waltz box it will be one, two, three, one, two, three, two, two, three, three, two, three. So this is the same sequence that will be done over and over around the dance floor. Again, it's also a ballroom type dance so it will be counterclockwise and some other sequence dance moves actually are country dances where they do the whole hoedown and fun things like that. Those are always sequence dances because you start it off, you're are just going to another position and you do the same dance over and over and have a good time. So that my friends is a little bit of information on sequence dance moves.
