Hey there, Shannon Cook here for eHow.com. I'm going to be showing you some tips on controller sensitivity for your Xbox 360 and how to change those controller settings in your system menu. Here we go. There are two ways to change your controller sensitivity. You can change your Xbox live account's personal preferences and you can change sensitivity in game. But first let's take a look at how quickly my character is moving now. I have my cowboy here set to a medium sensitivity range. He's just kind of meh about everything. Most games have sensitivity controls under their start menu and then in their options submenu. There will usually be a controller section or a controller sensitivity section. Notice how much faster my cowboy moves now. This is handy for third person gaming. But moving faster in a driving game can sometimes be pretty hairy. If you want to set your sensitivity level so that each gameplay is nearly the same way by default, then head to your Xbox guide and under settings, profile, game defaults. Under general, you'll find the controller sensitivity. Zero is strong lag. Your character will move slowly when moving around. Your wheel will turn slowly when pushing hard against the controller stick. To get your character to move around as fast as possible, set your sensitivity levels to ten. Changing sensitivity levels in game has an effect on that game only. Although after you make the changes once, you won't have to make them again. Just remember, changing your sensitivity levels is an especially nice trick if you're playing a racing game and find yourself oversteering or steering in so hard onto a turn that you end up pulling it in the completely wrong direction. Well, that's it everybody. Just showed you how to change the sensitivity on your Xbox 360 controller. I hope that helps, and thanks for watching.
