How Do I Clean Infant Toys?

Hi, my name is Christina Gavenda at domesticfelicity.com, and today we're going to talk about how to clean infant toys. There are lots of easy solutions for this your dishwasher or hot soapy dish water are a great solution for cleaning solid plastic toys or rubber ones. You can also throw fabric toys in with your laundry. Throw a little vinegar or something there that will help kill some germs and take away any stink. And then for toys that might have pieces where they could get water in there and that could cause problems later on that you don't want to put in the dishwasher or in the washer. You can use a baby safe solution for cleaning them. There are plenty of options at the grocery store for this. I personally prefer using just vinegar water, and if needed, maybe a little bit of soap in it. You can just spray it on, wipe it dry and then it's perfectly safe if your baby puts it in their mouth. You don't have to worry about whether the chemicals that they say are safe are actually safe. It can be really tempting to carry around sanitizing solutions and antibacterial wipes all over your house and wipe things down as your baby touches them. But remember, this isn't particularly good for their immune system .So if you don't get their toys wiped off as soon as they put them in their mouth. Don't worry about it, you're just fine.
