Hey, what's up? My name is Chase, and today I'm going to show you how to remove creases and impurities from your photos in Photoshop. I already have a photo open, here. You can see in the bottom left there are a bunch of scratches and creases and what I'm going to do to begin with is to create a duplicate of the background layer. That way we're making our edits on a duplicate layer and not on the original. So I'm going to drag the background layer to "create new layer," that's going to create a copy which you see right here. Using the healing brush, you can adjust the size by using the brackets, larger, smaller. I'm going to select a size that's just about the same size of these creases and holding the option key I'm going to click on a clean area to make my edits from. So we're just going to select an area that's somewhere over here in this nice clean area and then we're just going to work the brush slowly clicking over the creases. You can see that they are going away as easily as possible with this clean area. Remember to always make a new selection of the clean area as you are moving along because the selection does move as well. So I'm going to make a new selection and continue to work my way up over these grody areas, let's see, continuing to hold down the option button to get a new clean area selected. Okay, and then we can turn off this duplicate layer by clicking the eyeball over here and you can see our before and after edits. So that's after, that's before, that's after and before. We can zoom out to the full size, let's see, and see that's before, you have after, and you'll just continue to do that across the entire photograph and once you've finished, we're going to flatten the image by going to "layer, flatten image," and then we'll save it however we'd like. My name is Chase and I just showed you how to remove creases and impurities from your images in Photoshop. Thanks for watching.
