Hey, what's up? My name is Chase, and today I'm going to show you how to get canvas onto your computer using Photoshop. First we're going to start by opening Photoshop and creating a new document by clicking "file, new." I'm just going to do the generic document that's set up which is just the Photoshop size default. It's a 7 X 5. Click "okay," and I'm going to click "edit" and fill this with a color by clicking "edit and fill," and I'm going to choose a beige color, a light beige color, just to get something similar to a canvas background. Let's see, we're just going to do this by selecting one of the colors here on the right, using our dropper. It seems like a fairly light beige color, click "okay," click "okay" again to fill it and there you have it. Our background layer is filled. We are now going to create a duplicate of the background layer by clicking and dragging it to "create new layer." That's going to create a background layer copy which right here it says background copy and to this we're going to apply a filter effect which is going to give us that look for a canvas. We're going to click on "filter," "filter gallery," and a new dialog box is going to come up and we're going to click on the last option which is "texture" and the very last option within the texture menu is "texturize." And if you can see over here, once we've clicked on that, our display preview on the left hand side has this new texture on top of that colored background that we have. Let's see, let's zoom in real quick and you can see all those little pixels and lines that are there to texturize the plain flat background to make it look like a canvas. We're going to press "okay" and it's going to apply that to our image and we're going to flatten the image by clicking "layer, flatten image," and that's it. That's how you create a canvas on your computer using Photoshop. I'm Chase. Thanks for watching.
