Hey, this is Aaron from Eastern Boarder, and today we're going to be talking about removing edge burrs on your snowboard. So, edge burrs are something that occurs on the edge of your board, when you go over something other than snow. If you're snowboarding at the beginning of the season or the end of the season and there's low cover. You may hit a rock or a branch in the snow, and it will cause you to kind of, rough up your edge a little bit. If you have one particular spot in your board that has a bad edge burr in it and you don't need to re-tune or resharpen the whole board. You can remove the edge burr with a ceramic stone or a diamond stone. So, all you need to do to remove the edge burr, is to get your board situated, determine where your burr is on the edge. Then, very lightly you take your ceramic stone, keep it flat tot he edge and just go back and forth lightly. Check to see if the burr is still there, if it is, repeat the process. And then, it's gone. So, this is going to enable your board to turn smoother, not catch in turns as much, be a little bit faster on the snow. And takes relatively little time and gets you a better riding board.
