Hi, my name is Christina Gavenda, at DomesticFelicity.com, and today we're going to talk about soft spots on your baby's forehead. All healthy babies are born with soft spots on the front of their head and on the back of their head. These soft spots are because their skull hasn't completely fused together, in fact there's quit a big hole there, so that their brain can keep growing. If they don't have these soft spots, then it can be really dangerous for your baby. So that's why all healthy babies are born with them. All you wanna do is make sure that your careful about how you hold them, and especially about people who either have no experience with babies, or small children, making sure that they're aware of the dangers of pushing on their head. Adults and older children have pretty firm heads, and it's not a big deal if you bump into them or rough house with them, but for small babies it is a big deal and can be dangerous. The forehead soft spot will last longer than the back soft spot because it's bigger, and so you wanna be careful even as your baby gets a little bit older, how they bang their head, and again, watch small children around your infant to make sure that everybody's being safe and careful. Thanks so much for watching, my name's Christina Gavenda, and today we talked about soft spots on baby's foreheads.
