Hello, I'm Charles Galbreath, workforce empowerment speaker and human resource professional. Today, I'm going to share with you some tips for how to present yourself polished and professional for your job. Some of the things that you want to remember is image is seen way before any word that you say comes out of your mouth. So it's very important for your image to be professional and polished. Now some things that you want to think about first of all what is the dress code for my organization? You want to be in line with the dress code that is set for your organization. And that's one way that can help you fit in amongst your coworkers. But also stand out as a customer service or within the position. One of the other things that you want to think about is grooming. Grooming is a necessary part of professional appearance. That means if you are a male being clean shaved, clean cut. A female hair being groomed and well kept. Some of the other things that you want to think about personal hygiene, it's the odor. Other things of that nature. Also you want to remember that your image should never be a barrier to the service that your provide. So it's very important that your image that you portray and the clothing that you wear not be a distraction. It's very important that the image that you portray and the clothing that you wear be safe, well maintained, and clean. And that will help you present the best possible public image.
