Hi, I'm Lori Gilder from Interior Makeovers and LoriGilder.com, and today I'm here to talk to you about how you can bring in some orange accents in to your bedroom for that punch of vitamin C, for that punch of color. And I'd have to say one of my favorite colors this season has been the tangerine tango, the pantone color of the year. Which is a beautiful bright coraly orange. I love it, I love it clothes, I love it in some fabrics, in fact here's a fantastic fabric that I fell in love with that I just wanted to share with you. A beautiful linen fabric. Take something this simple and start little accents throughout your bedroom. It can be a couple occasional pillows, throw pillows, you could even take one chair if you really wanted to splurge and feel like you had that jolt of bright vitamin C in your life and maybe reupholster a chair. But really there are so many perfect tones for you. It doesn't all have to be this bright. There are muted versions of orange. Go flip through some fabric books and see what really speaks to you. And in terms of popping color in, it does not have to be a full wall of orange. Nor so you need to have orange bedding. But what you can do, is very simple touches. get a beautiful ceramic lamp base with a beautiful cream colored white shade. Even paint out the back of some of your bookshelves or use a little strip of wallpaper and wall covering on the back of bookshelves, which will create a punch of orange, and it's really cute. It's very beautiful. Now if you wanted to be a little bit more sophisticated, pair it with creams and blues and some chocolates for a little bit more of a traditional and transitional space. Or if you really want that wow factor, and you want a more youthful vibe, why don't you take some bright pinks, some of that orange add black and white and really create a beautiful, fresh, crisp environment, a more youthful look. So adding pops of color into your bedroom is really a lot of fun. It gives you that change and that quick change and it really, really enhances your space. So today we spoke about incorporating orange accents into your bedroom. It really is fun and creates a great punch of color. So go have some fun. I would love to hear from you. You can always reach me on my blog at LoriGilder.com, and I hope to see you there.
