So, when you go to buy kit car insurance, you need to go to a specialty company that will take care of you. Companies like Hagerty Insurance and American Modern, and then there's a few more, will give you a policy that will cover exactly what your kit car is worth. A lot of times, they're called for an appraisal, or you can do an agreed value. These companies understand these cars. The understand what a great hobby it is, and they also know that the driving habits of a kit car are much different than that of personal lines. So make sure, that you're getting a discount if you don't drive very many miles a year, and that the coverage covers the amount that you have in your kit car. This is Melissa with All Seasons Insurance, and today we've covered how to insure your kit car.
