Hi, this is Christina Farrell for themakeupblogger.com, and today's question is what are the best HD foundations for makeup artists? Right now, almost everything is shot in HD. Which means that every single line, every single pore, every single flaw is magnified. Because HD shows everything seven times magnification. So what you want to do is find a foundation that still looks natural while giving the optimal coverage. The good news is is that there are tons of companies out there who make foundations specifically for HD. So it really cuts out the guessing game for you. Some of my favorites are Makeup Forever, Koh Gen Do, OCC which is Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. You'll love them. And also not forget Inglot. These formulations leave a beautiful satin finish to the skin. Really give a nice full coverage and look like nothing on camera which is your goal. So I'll give you an example with one of the top picks, Makeup Forever. Now this one is wonderful because the coverage is very very full but it looks like skin. A lot of my clients actually use this for every day life because the coverage is so unique in that it covers up everything but leaves the skin moist, soft, and with a really nice kind of glowy finish. You can already see how it just is making the skin look luminous. Now I'm applying it with a brush in tiny brush strokes. You can also apply it with a sponge but I prefer a brush. I feel like it really gives the foundation movement, helps you to be able to apply it all over the skin, and to use less of the product. Cause with the sponge it tends to suck it off. So as you can see how seamless and really beautiful this foundation is making her skin look. And yes we are shooting in HD. So there you go. You want a foundation as you can see that completely covers but gives a nice glow and sheen to the skin. And that works well in natural light. That's a great tip is to make sure you apply your foundation in natural light cause that's going to be the closest to what it looks like in HD. My name is Christina Farrell from themakeupblogger.com, and today's question was what are the best foundations for artists to use in HD?
