Hi, my name is Christina Farrell of, and today we're going to teach you how to blend blue and brown eye shadows together with perfection. So, the first thing you want to do is know that with a blue eye shadow you want to use it as the accent color. Either in deep navy as a liner or a softer kind of warmer blue on the corners to smoke out that eye. But the blue is always the accent color and the brown is the color that you really give life to the eye with. So I will show you that technique. First off, you want to make sure that you fill the brown color right here in what we call the almond crease. You don't want to go all over the eye. You just want to right there where our eye naturally folds and as you can see I'm just doing a basic warm brown. The great thing about mixing blue and brown shadows is that you can use either a warm brown or a cool brown and it will work either way so whatever you have in your make up arsenal, you're good to go. So as you can see I've created a really pretty brown base right there. Where just going to blend the top softly, the lighter brown just so that it has a really nice fade to it. Now here comes the blue. Today I'm working with a navy eye liner and then we're going to accentuate it with a navy eye shadow. I'll show you, close your eyes... So with the blue eye liner, you want to press right into the lash line. You don't want it to be too thick. So the trick is, instead of trying to go all the way across in one line, go in tiny little steps and push that color into the lash. That will ensure that you get a really nice, nice line. Okay, now the next step is blending. As you can see I'm using a really beautiful kind of shimmery navy and what I'm going to do is just blend out that liner with the eye shadow. It's going to smoke it out and it's going to give you a really beautiful alternative to the evening smoky eye. I use this trick myself all the time when I'm going out at night. Open up. So ,as you can see, you still get that hint of blue but it's not over powering the eye. It's really subtle, it's really sexy and that's the perfect way to blend the shadows together. My name is Christina Farrell of, and today's lesson was How To Blend Blue and Brown Eye Shadows Together To Perfections.
