Hi, my name is Steven Benedict. I'm a strength and conditioning coach and a performance enhancement specialist. Today, we're going to be talking about hurdle walkover drills to improve your hips and to improve your core stability. For purposes today, you can usually do these at a track that's where they are best performed. But today we're going to be doing these on stationary hurdles here just to show you the form and proper technique of them. So let's get right into it. So first you're going to drive that knee over, plant the foot, keep your hips high. Don't let those hips turn and then you're going to pull through on that trail leg. So let's do a couple of these. Let's walk back for another set. And one more. Take notice of how my leg cycles through and I pull through. My hips are high. I'm nice and tall and I engage my core. Good and those are your hurdle walkovers for better stability in your hips and in your core.
