Hi, my name is Mathew Pierce. I'm a software engineer, and today I'd like to talk with you about opening .OTF files. Now .OTF files can be one of two type of files which one is an open type font file which is a font file that's kind of a combination of postscript and Microsoft's true type fonts, it's kind of a joint venture between Adobe and Microsoft. You can open that with Font Forge which you see right here. It's an open source, a font editing program. You can use this, download it and use it to open it but it could also be an open document formula template by Oracle's Open Office Suite or by Libre Open Office Suite. It's an open document format that contains formulas and whatnot. It's used for creating formulas for the spreadsheets and these two applications are freely available. One is from Apache. You can go to Openoffice.org and get it. You can get Libre Office from Libreoffice.org and they are both again, they are both open source applications. They are freely available and with these three, one of these three applications will allow you to be able to open your .OTF file and manipulate it or do whatever you want with it. I'm Mathew Pierce. Today we talked about opening .OTF files. Thank you for watching.
