Hi, I'm Chef Bailey, a private chef with Kitchen.com, and today I am standing in the kitchen of one of my favorite restaurants, Freda's Caribbean and Soul Cuisine. Today, we'll be making a chicken cutlet. First, we'll start with a boneless chicken breast which we will season on both sides with a little salt, pepper, put a little bit more on there and garlic powder and we will be dredging this in one egg so I'll just pour that egg in that bowl like so, take my cutlet, sometimes you want to use two hands for this because it can be a little messy, so use one hand to dredge in the egg and then we have some bread crumbs here. So you'll just dredge that like so with the other hand, make sure we get it really well coated. Make sure that it adheres, all the bread crumbs adheres to the cutlet really well and this is a thick cut. You can always slice it in half for a thinner cutlet. And you're just going to fry this. If it's a thick cut you want to do maybe about three to four minutes on each side. If it's a thinner one, you could do a little bit less and some oil. We're going to place that in a frying pan like so and this is what your cutlet will look like when it's all done. I like to serve my cutlets with sometimes rice or you can do wraps, you can actually put it in a wrap and roll it as well as dice it up and serve it as an appetizer but this is your chicken cutlet, quick and easy.
