Hi, I'm Cherish Flieder, Designer at somethingtocherish.com. Today, I want to show you how you can apply paper to fabric in this video. You can see here, I have this cute little backpack and a sample of what it would look like once you apply that paper cutout. So, to begin, you're going to want a bit, a basic fabric base. It could be anything; I'm just using a backpack for this example, and then the piece of paper you're looking to apply to it all cut out and ready to go. I also have some embellishments picked up, some buttons that will also add a little charm. I would recommend using the fabric formula of Mod Podge for the best results. To begin, I'm going to apply a little bit of the fabric formula to the back of the paper. And then, once you're ready, you're going to put it on just like a sticker and make sure you press down to avoid any bubbles or wrinkles, and move your fingers around the edges to get a good seal. So, I'm going to switch over to this one which I've already applied, just like I showed you and I'm going to put a finish sealer on it. Again, I'm going to use a fabric formula and I'm going to go right over top and I want to keep my strokes going the same direction and make sure you get all the way around. This will give it a good seal. From here, you can go ahead and embellish however you want; I'm going to add this cute little button to the top to make it fun and it'll dry alongside with the rest of it. Okay, so, that's how simple it is to add a piece of paper to fabric of your choosing using the fabric Mod Podge formula. I'm Cherish, I hope you had a lot of fun learning how to do this today, and I hope you'll go, live like to the fullest and make it something to cherish.
