Hi, my name is David Levine. I own Illinois Nut and Candy. We're online at RaisingTheCandyBar.com. Today, we're making no-bake s'mores with peanuts and chocolate chips. So how do you make a no-bake s'more? When I think back to eating s'mores, I think back to camp where we used to take graham crackers and marshmallows and a chocolate bar, put it over the fire and melt it down. Well, what if we don't want to have a campfire at our house, how do we do it? Well, we start off with a graham cracker. You can either use marshmallows and warm them up in the microwave, or you can start with some sort of marshmallow fluff product. There's a lot on the market both brand name as well as generic. Pick it up at your local grocery store. You'll then take the fluff, you'll evenly apply it to the graham cracker. I like to do a couple at a time, I find that it's easier, you kinda go from step one to step two a lot quicker. And you'll see by using a fluff based product you don't have to microwave it. It saves a lot of time and a lot of mess. After you have one half of the graham cracker covered in marshmallow, now comes time to put on the chocolate. If you're using chocolate chips, you can either take them, put them in a microwave, if you're using a microwave, be sure that you microwave at a lower temperature, you stop frequently and you stir constantly otherwise you'll burn it. Otherwise, use a tempering machine, which is a little bit more work, or you could use a double boiler. If you do not have a double boiler, simply take two pots, put them on your stovetop, fill the bottom pot with water, put the top pot in and make sure that as you have the chocolate chips in the double boiler, you stir it on a regular basis. Now, we're going to take some of the chocolate out of my tempering machine. We are simply going to take the chocolate and we're going to coat it the graham cracker and the marshmallow with the chocolate. You can put as much chocolate as you like. And then some people really like having peanuts on their s'mores, so what we're going to do is we're going to take some granulated peanuts, sprinkle it on. We're then going to take the graham cracker top, put that on as well. Then to make it look pretty, we'll put a little bit more chocolate on the top of the s'more sandwich, add a few more peanuts on, and voila. You can add the chocolate and then put the peanuts on to make it look pretty, or for extra fancy s'mores you can totally cover your graham cracker sandwich in chocolate and then drizzle white chocolate on and make it extra pretty. Thank you for watching today. And once again, my name is David Levine with Illinois Nut and Candy. We're online at RaisingTheCandyBar.com and have a sweet day.
