Hi, my name is Christina Gavenda at domesticfelicity.com and today, we're going to talk about how a non-drop crib works. On a drop crib, the sides will slide down and hook in and out as they go. On a non-drop crib, your sides don't slide up and down. What slides is your mattress. Underneath the mattress is a metal and wire frame that holds up your mattress. And on each of the four corners, it has metal attachments. On each of the four posts, you'll see screws where the mattress frame attaches on with screws and a bar to each of the corresponding holes. And as your baby gets older and more mobile, you move your mattress incrementally down until it's at the bottom rung for the toddler age. My name is Christina Gavenda, thanks so much for watching and that's how a non-drop crib works.
