Hello, I'm Darryle Brown, from, and today we will discuss how to design a pitch for your boss. When designing a pitch for your boss, here are three key things to consider when making that pitch. Pitch number one, or tip number one, see things from your boss' point of view. If you know their style, their dynamic and how their attention span is when it comes to issues or matters or concerns, considering that they're probably relatively busy, you want to see things from their point of view. How do they want information disseminated to them? And if you think about it from that point of view, it makes it so much easy for your boss to be receptive to what you have to say. And, tip number two, visualize your points, and thinking about visualizing your points, I'm talking about descriptive words used, the use of descriptive words and helping to paint that picture of what you're trying to bring across to him. Help him to see, or her, help your boss to be able to see what it is that you're talking about by being as descriptive as possible, so that they can see, or get a, some degree of an understanding of what you're trying to convey across to them. And number three, tip number three, make your points come alive. So when you're giving a presentation to them, show that passion, if it's a particular thing that you're really passionate about, that you're trying to pitch to them, let that come through. Let it come alive in sharing personal, not necessarily personal stories, but a story that relates to what you're talking about so that they can get an even greater understanding, and may even see more into what it is that you're trying to bring across. And explain that energy. Having that passion, that energy, sharing stories in various things, will really go a long way toward pitching what it is that you're trying to bring across to your boss. It makes a huge difference in looking at those key elements in whatever pitch you're seeking to design to your boss. I'm Darryle Brown, from, and these are tips on how to design a pitch for your boss. Thank you for watching.
