Hi, I'm Brandhyze Stanley with Frugal-nomics here at Grey Era Vintage in New York City and today I'm going to show you a tutorial for a recycled T-shirt necklace. The tools you'll need are a rotary cutter, a cutting board, synthetic cord, T-shirt, a couple different cord caps, a clasp and a ruler. Our first step will be to take your T-shirt and lay it on a flat surface. Next, you'll take your straight edge and you'll remove your hem. With each strip that you get, when you're done you'll stretch them out individually and you'll lay them in a pile with the seams touching to make your job easier later. After that, you'll collect them all with the seams touching, feel free to drive a needle and thread through if you want to secure it even further but you don't have to, take your synthetic cord, wrap it around. This will be the arm to your necklace. From there, you'll take your cord cap which you can get from any jewelry making store, feed the necklace through and since you'll have a bulk of fabric, feel free to screw it on for security. You can adhere glue to the inside or the screw that comes along with it. After that, you'll add the last cord cap to the end, followed by the clasp and you'll repeat that for the other side. And there you have it. This is your tutorial for your recycled T-shirt necklace. I'm Brandhyze Stanley with Frugal-nomics here at Grey Era Vintage in New York City. Thank you for watching.
