Hi, I'm Winston Widdes, DJ Evolved, broadcasting from Level 3 Records Studios here in San Diego, California for eHow.com and today we're going to be talking about how to do heavy vocals. So what I'm going to do here is I've got a vocal sample right here, pretty simple, straightforward not super heavy. So what I'm going to do is double it. So I'm going to duplicate my track. Now I have that same vocal on two separate tracks and what I'm going to do to this one is I'm going to transpose this down one octave, 12 steps and that gives it a much deeper darker sound. So that's one way by doubling and by using the mode and the lyrics that you can get some heavy vocals. So once again, I'm Winston Widdes, DJ Evolved, broadcasting from Level 3 Records Studios here in San Diego, California for eHow.com and we've just finished talking about how to do heavy vocals.
