Hi, I'm Winston Widdes, DJ Evolved, broadcasting from Level 3 Records Studios here in San Diego, California for eHow.com. Today, we're going to be talking about how to make a MIDI file. So when we are creating a MIDI file, there's a few different ways to do it but the most basic way to do it is to first use something like a piano role where you can see here that I've pre-programmed when these MIDI notes are going to play and then I would simply click on that file right click on that file and scroll down to export MIDI clip and I can create that calling it a new MIDI file, that's fine and when I save that that will create a MIDI file that I can then open up on another program and use the MIDI information to play what I've produced right here. So that is how you can create a MIDI file. So once again, I'm Winston Widdes, DJ Evolved, broadcasting from Level 3 Records Studios here in San Diego, California for eHow.com and we've just finished talking about how to make a MIDI file.
