Hi, I'm Susan McLennan from Babble On Communications, and I want to talk to you a little bit today about the experience of an ethics audit. An ethics audit is really about discerning the difference between what an organization says it does on paper, in terms of it's ethics, and what it does in practice. So, what you might experience during an ethics audit is most likely in one of three areas. First, they might interview you. Second of all, they might review your records. That would include files, anything on your computer. And third they might observe you. So there are a few important things to keep in mind about what the experience will be like. And first is, it might feel a little jarring but remember that the whole process is to get your company to a better place. So, it's important that HR and PR work closely together. And it's also important that when the results are in that they are communicated, and that they are acted on. Because if none of that happens nobody will believe in the importance of ethics to the organization, and then it will go nowhere. And it's really important also to review, usually annually to ensure that you're staying the course that has been determined from that audit. It's not unusual in this day and age for companies to be, or people within those companies to be rewarded for good ethical behavior. And that certainly makes the audit process much more palatable. I'm Susan McLennan from Babble On Communications. Thanks very much for watching.
