Hi, I'm Jennifer Mull from Backwoods in Austin, Texas. Today, we're going to talk about the disadvantages of internal frame packs. And to be honest with you, in this day and age, there really aren't many disadvantages. A lot of the disadvantages that may have been there in the beginning, when internal frame packs first came out, really have been modified and looked at. And they really don't have a lot of disadvantages of any, at this point, in the evolution of internal frame packs. That being said, in the beginning, there were certainly some people that thought that there wasn't as much ventilation. Because they didn't sit as far off your back, or off your back at all. They have corrected that in many cases at this point, so there is a lot more ventilation. But that is something that some people thought in the beginning. There's also, typically not as many pouches and connections points, etc., on the outside of the pack. Again, commonly now, they've really rectified some of that, with some of the bells and whistles they've put on, with some of the tie-off points, etc. But in the beginning of time, there wasn't as many compartments and organization features, as there are today.
