Hello, I'm Darryle Brown from BrownConsultant.org and here are tips to help you to effectively interview after being terminated. Interviewing after being terminated can be a very challenging experience in interviews. But here is a tip on how you can effectively interview even in the midst of a termination situation. One key area to keep in mind when you're being interviewed and inquired about your termination is honesty. It's important to be honest with yourself as well as the potential employer. Because the employer, you may tell them that you've resigned, but if they call your former employer and ask them what your status was upon your departure, and they say you were terminated, but you said you had resigned, that could be very problematic as far as the questions of your integrity. It's very important for you to be honest because your chances of being seriously considered rest on your integrity and your ability to be honest. Also if you are in a situation where you happen to be terminated as a result of performance related issues, what you should consider when you're in that interview is to tell them what you have learned in that experience to help you to become a better performer, to help you to learn to grow and develop your skills as a result of that experience. That can go a long way toward enabling you to be able to effectively address the issues and move forward for them to seriously consider you for that position. So just remember honesty and also what you've learned from that experience if it's your termination was based on performance related issues can go a long way in helping you to be seriously considered as a candidate after a termination from a previous employer. I'm Darryle Brown from BrownConsultant.org and these are tips to help you to effectively interview after being terminated. Thank you for watching.
