Hi there, my name is Marissa Vicario, founder of Marissa's Well-being and Health and creator of The Total Reset Plan. Today I'm going to show you how to freeze Granny Smith apples. If you find yourself with a lot of Granny Smith apples on hand, you can freeze them for use at a later time. You have two options for freezing your apples. The first option is to freeze them whole. After you wash and dry your apples, you simply lay them out on a cookie sheet whole after they've been washed and dried. Then you just simply place them right into the freezer. Now I've taken these out of the freezer and I'm going to put them in a plastic bag then I'm going to return them to the freezer until I need to use them. Option number two if you're going to use your apples for baking or canning is to peel the apple and slice it. If you know you're going to be using your apples for baking or canning, your second option is to peel and slice the apples. So I'm slicing the apple in half and then into wedges and then after you are finished slicing the apples into small wedges, you'll want to bathe each one in lemon juice to prevent browning and then lay your apples out on your cookie sheet and then you'll put your cookie sheet into the freezer and when you remove your apple slices from the freezer, you'll again add them to a freezer bag and then you'll return them to the freezer until you need to use them. And that's how you freeze Granny Smith apples. I'm Marissa Vicario, the founder of Marissa's Well-being and Health and creator of The Total Reset Plan.
