Hi, my name is Christina Gavenda, at, and today we're going to talk about how to sterilize baby bottles in a microwave. Microwaves can be really helpful for sterilizing your baby bottles if you have a microwave baby bottle sterilizer where you can put all of your baby bottles, you put the amount of water that the directions tell you to put in, and then you put the attachments to your bottles, like the nipple and the cap, in the center compartments. You cover it with the dome, and put it in the microwave. There's also vinyl zippered bags that you can get specifically for steaming your baby bottles. If you don't have these things, don't use it. Use your dishwasher, if it gets over 180 degrees, or boil your baby bottles on the stove top. If you choose to use the microwave to steam your baby bottles, you want to make sure that you're using BPA free plastic, or glass bottles, where you don't have to worry about it. Intense heat can cause bottles that have BPA in them to leech the chemical. Thanks for watching. My name is Christina Gavenda, and that's how you sterilize your baby bottles with a microwave.
