Hi, my name is Christina Gavenda at, and today we're going to talk about how to sleep with your baby. If you're talking about your baby sleeping in the bed with you, don't. It's not recommended, you can't guarantee safety, and it can be very dangerous especially if you are an exhausted new mom who is sleep deprived. So what I would encourage you to do is have a basonet right beside your bed so that the baby is right there within arm's length, and then you can take your baby and put it in there from the bed and then when they're fussy, you can just reach in from your bed, get your baby out and nurse them safely in bed or you can get up and go to a recliner, whichever one you prefer. You could also get bedside sleepers, extensions that lay flat and level with your bed, but they have protective arms like a crib around them and they just fasten securely right to the side of your bed, or flush, but then again your baby is safe and then you're not going to harm them while you're sleeping. Thanks so much for watching, my name is Christina Gavenda. And that's how you sleep with your baby.
