Hi, I'm Stephanie Prosenjak from Cherry Creek Dance, here to teach you a little bit about creative movement. Creative movement is generally for young children. In our classes here, we, we start in a circle; we do a few stretches. We kind of use our imagination like butterflies, we paint rainbows, we pretend we're different animals and then we get up and continue dancing. Next, we're going to do some just free movement. So, this is just freestyle dancing; you can play games with this. You can put on different types of music. I just have the girls dancing, just dancing like a, a ballerina, what they think a ballerina would look like; floating lightly. I have the girls dancing like their favorite animals. You can do jumping and hopping movements, however they want to jump or hop. And then, slow motion, you can have them dance very, very, very slow and then fall down and fall asleep. You can have them dance fast, all kinds of different great things you can do it with or without music. I hope this is informative to you about creative dance. I'm Stephanie Prosenjak from Cherry Creek Dance.
