Hi, I'm Stephanie Prosenjak, from Cherry Creek Dance, to give you a few tips of what to do if your wood floor is too slippery. First you wanna make sure that your cleaning it with just vinegar and water. No soap substances that can cause a slick film on the floor. Next, if you're dancing and it's still too slippery, you can tap the balls of your feet on your shoes into the water and that will help just gain some traction on the floor. Next, if that's still too slippery, you can use a natural plant-based substance called rosin. You've seen boxers, gymnasts and dancers use this quite often. The only risk with that on a wood floor is that you'll have some spots that are sticky, and then still some spots that are a little slippery. So just make sure that you, again, clean it every time with vinegar and water. Hopefully these few tips on how to keep your wood floor from being too slippery have been helpful.
