Hi, I'm Stephanie Prosenjak, from Cherry Creek Dance, and I'm here to talk to you about the dangers of ballet dancing for children. Most importantly you wanna pick a very qualified dance studio to take your child to ballet. You wanna make sure that the staff is qualified and very experienced in teaching. Next, you wanna make sure that the floor are wood sprung floors with Marley, so not to risk for injuries. Next you wanna make sure that your dancer stays healthy, realizing that ballet dancers come in all shapes and sizes. And lastly making sure that your dance does not go onto point too young. This can risk the growth plate if you go on point too young. You wanna make sure that you talk with your ballet teacher, and that they have enough experience and strength to go on point.
