Hi. My name is Alex Cecilio. I'm a graphic artist. And I'm going to show you how to create a 3-D staircase in Illustrator. So the first thing you're going to want to do is go to your rectangle tool, which is right below your type tool and select that. Make sure you've got a color that's light enough. So I'd say you know, light teal or yellow is fine. And draw a very thin rectangle. And select it and then go to effect, 3-D and extrude & bevel, and then when you're almost, select preview so that you can see the, so you can see what you're doing. And then you can actually, you can adjust your stair. So, I'm going to make it like that. And then you can say OK. And if you decide later you want to change the color you usually can. You can do an even lighter color. But eventually it'll just start turning in to gray. OK. So now what you can do is, you can actually even adjust how wide your stair is. So I'm going to make it a little longer and little bit wider. And then what you can do from here is, I'm going to change the color again because you can't really see the 3-D quality of it. That's better. All right. So now if you select the selection tool, if you hold down option and just drag, it'll make another. So you can adjust that however you want to, however big your stairs are. So once you've copied it on to, made another one you can actually just put it right on top if you want to. And then you can use your arrow keys to adjust how it looks. And actually I'm going to adjust this a little bit so it's a little better. And then you can just keep doing this over and over and over. Just copy and paste it as many times as you want, however big you want your stairwell. And then you can keep going and going. And you can even select all three and hold option and copy and it'll just make another copy until you have your entire staircase. And there you go, and there's your 3-D staircase. My name is Alex and this is how you make a 3-D staircase in Illustrator. Thank you.
