Hi, this is Kristie Kennedy, licensed beauty professional. Today, we'll be discussing how to make bridal makeup long lasting. One of the most important days of a woman's life is the day that she's going to get married. We're going to look at ways that we can extend the wear of her makeup. The first product I'm going to look at is our moisturizer. Once you cleanse the skin the second step you want to do is to moisturize, you want to rehydrate it as you prepare to put makeup on. So what's very important if you want to have your makeup last a long time is to make sure we don't skip this step. Because we want the skin to look nice and supple. The next thing we want to look at is our eye shadow primer. You want to prime the lid before you place any color on the eye. This is going to allow that color to really brighten up on the face and it's going to allow it to last a lot longer, and it helps to prevent creasing. I would like to also mention a cream based liner as opposed to a pencil liner. Reason being that it lasts 4 times as long as a pencil liner. Those final touches to allow the makeup to last even longer are a high definition translucent powder. Once everything is on the face we want to go over completely with a translucent powder to help that product last a lot longer throughout the day to minimize our touch ups. And then last thing, we want to finish with a long lasting waterproof spray. In a nice mist you spray on the face. And those are a few tips on how you make a brides makeup last. This is Kristie Kennedy, thank you for watching.
