Hi, my name is Alex Cecilio. I'm a Graphic Artist and I'm going to show you how to draw flying books in Photoshop. So, the first thing I'm going to do is add a new layer to my page. So, I'm going to go over right here to this button next to the trash can and click that. Then, I'm going to go over to my pen tool and I'm going to, and actually, another good thing to do is go to view, show and then grid. And this is going to help you just make sure that your book is a little bit more symmetrical. So, I'm going to start by drawing my book, my book cover. And then from here, I'm actually going to make the book the, like a slip binding, it's what it's called. I'm just, you want to make sure there's a little bit curve right there, like that and now, I'm going to start my pages. So, I'm going to start here, oops; so, I'm going to make a couple of pages that are just kind of like flustered and you want them to look like they've been disturbed. So, have that little curve there and you can have a couple of, you know, straight ones too. And, and then you're going to want at the end, you're also going to just want like a chunk of page, pages and I'm actually going to show you how to make that look like it's being bothered as well. One more little page and then, that's when I'm going to start, then, and then I'm going to make the, the back cover. Okay. So, now I've got my shape, I'm actually going to get rid of the ruler, I mean get with the grid and then, I'm actually going to right click and I'm going to select stroke path, I'm going to say okay. Oh, actually, I should have mentioned this; so, go to the paintbrush and select go to basic brushes and the way you do that is just, when in your brush panel, if you just click this button and you go to basic brushes and say okay. Now, I'm just going to select like a size three and then, I'm going to go back to the pen tool, right click stroke path. Say okay and now you've got your book drawn. So, then, you can delete your path and actually, let's go to effect. So, I'm just go stroke path, okay, alright delete path. Alright. So now, I'm just going to add a little extra detail to this. And then, if you want, you can do something like this and go back to the eraser tool, make it really small so that it looks like there's a couple of pages that have been stacked together. Okay. And then, you can go back and fix anything you want once you're done, like any overlapping pen marks, like that one for example; you can just go ahead and erase that if you want. And there you have your flying book. And you can also just free transform it, turn it like that. And then if you want to add some kind of motion, you can just do that. And there you have it. My name is Alex and this is how you draw a flying book in Photoshop. Thank you.
