Hi, I'm Orene Kearn, Image and Wardrobe Consultant. And I'm here in the beautiful Morning Glory Boutique in downtown Burlingame, California. We are here to talk about evening gown styles that slightly cover the arms. You know, most of the styles of evening gowns these days are sleeveless or strapless and they're beautiful and they're elegant. However, a lot of women feel very uncomfortable showing the tops of their arms in particular. So, I want to show you several styles that really are gorgeous styles that cover up this problem area. First, I like to show you one way to do it is to wear a sheer sleeve with a beautiful bodice or a lace sleeve. This gown, it's not exactly a gown, it's a knee-length cocktail dress, but they also make the similar style in a long dress. This is a stunning dress with lace sleeves that it cover up the arms just enough and this is just a stunning look. Another wonderful option for a long gown or a cocktail length dress is a three-quarter sleeve. Here we have a dress in a shimmery fabric that can be made to dress up, you can dress it down and I put it with a lovely necklace. And here this covers even more of the arm. So, if you are self conscious about the top of your arm, a three quarter-sleeve looks just beautiful and it's very current. You can also show off a beautiful bracelet with it. If you find a stunning gown that you're crazy about that is sleeveless, the other option would be to get a bolero jacket, a cropped sweater, some type of short jacket that can be a little dressy and to put it over the gown. Here I've used a thin gauze cardigan, very cropped and tied it behind so we don't cover up any detail in this beautiful gown. This is another way to have slightly covering the arms with a beautiful gown. And there you have it, some evening style gowns that slightly cover the arms and look beautiful.
