Hi, my name is Chris Henry. I'm the founder of Freshpersonalchefservice.com. Today, I'm going to be making for you a delicious Hawaiian pasta salad. We're going to start out with a pound of elbow pasta and this pasta I've cooked it until it's really overcooked in the sense of a pasta. We usually think of our pasta as being al dente. This is cooked for about 15 minutes and the reason I overcook it or cook it that long is so the pasta really absorbs the dressing and so we're going to start out with the pound of elbow cooked for about 15 minutes in the boiling salted water. We're going to add to that warm pasta, one quarter cup of apple cider vinegar and pour that right in. I'm not going to add this apple cider vinegar to the actual dressing because it would curdle the milk so we're going to start out with the apple cider vinegar and then I'm going to go ahead and move onto the dressing. The dressing consists of two cups of whole milk, pour that right in, there we go and two cups of mayonnaise and you don't want to go fat free or low fat on any of this because it really is going to compromise the flavor in this particular dish, with the mayonnaise and then we're going to sweeten it up with a tablespoon of brown sugar, that's going to go right in and you give all this a nice mix, there we go. We're going to add to that a generous shake, grind of pepper and salt, there we go with the pepper, okay. Give that a nice stir, there we go, okay. Now that that's incorporated we're going to go ahead and put the celery for the crunch, nice crunch in the pasta salad and a little sweetness from the carrot, beautiful. Okay we're going to go ahead and add this dressing all at once, there we go. Give it a toss, there we go, oh wonderful, it's so pretty, there, give that a nice toss, get it all incorporated into the pasta. Okay, there we have it, beautiful Hawaiian pasta salad.
