Hi, I'm Kristen Rzasa, Owner of InterPlay Health and Host on FTNS, World's First Fitness Radio. Today, I'm here at the Jazzercise Fitness Center in Stamford, Connecticut to talk about modified exercises for individuals with disabilities. Exercise is important for everyone. Even if you have some physical limitations, there are ways you can modify your exercise routine. For example, if you're not able to stand, there are many exercises that you can do seated in a chair. Strengthening can also be done seated in a chair using small, one-to-two pound weights to start. You can also get a great aerobic workout in a water exercise class. These are a few ways to modify the exercise for individuals with disabilities. I'm Kristen Rzasa here at the Jazzercise Fitness Center in Stamford, Connecticut.
