Hello, my name is Carolyn Paddock, and I'm the founder and CEO of In-flight Insider, and today I'm here in the beautiful Carlisle Showroom and we are talking about how to best pack dresses so that they don't wrinkle. Now my favorite way to pack a dress is in a dry cleaner bag but I also like to put it in a garment bag and what this does is the dry cleaner bag protects it, it keeps it from wrinkling which is why dry cleaners use plastic bags and then I put it in a garment bag so that I can carry it nicely and it just keeps it all together. Normally I have a few dresses with me. It keeps them all together and the plastic not only prevents it from wrinkling but it protects it because this is not waterproof and if you do get to your hotel room or wherever you are and you have found that you have a few wrinkles what I would do is go into the bathroom with your dress on a hanger, turn the shower on, let it get a little steamy, hang it up and let the wrinkles fall out. That usually will take care of it. And for my takeaway tip is if you are in a hotel and you feel like you really need to use your iron, then please check it beforehand. Take a towel and do a little dry run. I have ruined really one shirt too many by forgetting this. So you know, I've done it myself. You don't want to do that, you don't want to ruin your dress and so that is my takeaway tip to you. My name is Carolyn Paddock. Thanks for watching.
