Hi, I'm Jimmy Chang and we're here to talk about briefly an introduction to Combinatorics. Now, Combinatorics is a very important course in the field of Math and it's often covered and is often offered as a course in the upper level undergraduate, whether like junior, senior year, perhaps in the graduate level depending on the institution. Now, the Combinatorics is this branch of Mathematics that involves the study of finite or countable structures. So, that's what Combinatorics is all about. Now, concepts include but not limited to the following: permutations, combinations. Now, these two ideas are involve in accounting principles in concepts and Combinatorics. Now, another idea that's involve is what's known as the pigeon hole principle which is a pretty applied concept that is also use when it comes to proving certain things. But basically, Combinatorics is a pretty wide course that covers the finite and countable structures and it's covers these and then some and basically gives you an idea as to how to count certain ways as well as being able to figure out how to arrange objects in various orders.
