Hi, my name is Alex Cecilio; I'm a Graphic Artist, and I'm going to show you how make a beanie cap in Illustrator. So, what I've done already is just drawing the head shape so that you can get an idea for the dimensions of this hat that you're going to make. So, what you're going to first want to do is lock the layer that your head is on just so that it doesn't mess with, with graphics of your beanie. And so, I'm going to go and use the pen tool and just start from here. So, I'm going to add up an anchor to the side of my head and then another, and then you're just going to drag it to the, to the right and just up a little bit, not a whole lot, just enough 'til you get that kind of brim, the brim of that beanie hat. And then, you can just pull this over and I'm actually going to re-draw that because you want it to be a little bit more like that. So, I'm going to draw it again. Okay, and then we have that, so you just pull it to the side and hold down option and then it'll make a double arrow. So, you just pull it up like that and so now you got this double shape. And then, just make an anchor on the end of that and then the end of this and just make a curved line. And so now you've got that and I'm going to do exactly what I did before, holding down option and dragging it and then you can either control or you can right click, go to transform, reflect and make a vertical reflection so that way you can put it right on top of your beanie. And it might be a little lap sided, so you're going to want to fix that. And go to object, group, that way you can drag your image like that. And so, right now that's, we have the, the brim or the soft stretchy part and now, we're just going to draw a, and you can use, actually I'm going to use the pen tool and you can draw on both sides and then, you can make a; and actually, what you're probably going to want to do is just lock this layer as well and just start a new layer and just add a point there and point here. And then, you can make your beanie cap kind of like that. And so, now you've got this; I'm going to unlock that and so now we've got this kind of beanie cap shape. I'm just going to adjust the size so that way it's, actually more than that; but, and then if you want you can fill it with some color; let me fill this with color and just, you can actually copy and paste, and delete that and just paste it right back on top of the same layer. And then you're going to group that and the way you group is you go to object, group and then you can just drag it like that on top of your head there. And there you have your basic beanie cap shape. My name is Alex and this is how you draw beanie cap in Illustrator. Thank you.
