Hi, my name is Alex Cecilio. I'm a graphic artist and I'm going to show you how to make a three sided box in illustrator. So what you're first going to want to do is go up to view and just go down to show grid and what this is going to do is just make a grid on your page so that you can get a little bit better perspective. So I'm going to use the line tool and the reason I'm using the line tool is because it's got a straight line almost unless you do a diagonal. But if you want to be perfectly straight, just hold down the shift key and I'll draw a little square. And actually what I'm going to do is not even draw a whole square. If you want to take some shortcuts you can just draw half of the square and then use the selection tool and select both sides and hold down the option key and just drag it and then flip it and you can hold down shift and it will make a perfect shift. And then you just put it right back in place and then you have your box. And then drag a square over your square. And go to object, group, or command G and this will just make it so our whole box will move instead of just your pieces. So you can do that. And then to make it three sided, You can drag another line literally rot across and I'm actually just going to put this little bit further on the grid so that it fits. And so just drag a line like this and then pick a grid point so that way you can actually measure it well. Hold down shift, you could do this again the line again and then you can just actually I'm going to want to move that but you can just stretch it out like that and there you already have the top part. So you just need to take a line, draw it down. You can draw it however long. Halfway down if you want but just so you can get your points right. And there you have your three sided box. My name is Alex Cecilio, thank you very much.
