Hi, I'm Lauren Imparato, founder and owner of I.Am.You. At I.Am.You I teach yoga and I work as a nutritionist and I love making you and me recipes to eat. Today, I'm going to teach you how to make an Ahi tuna salad. We're going to be inspired by France alright? We're going to start, we're going to take a bed of spinach, baby spinach and you're going to put it in your bowl, a lot, a little, really up to you and we're actually going to dress the spinach before we move forward. For the dressing here I'm going to just drizzle olive oil on top. It could just stay here if you like balsamic vinegar, put a little bit of vinegar and we're going to toss that. Then I'm going to come and I'm going to add some sun dried tomatoes, going to cut some actually, a little bit finer so they get into each bite and then I'm going to add them, add some chopped red onion if you like or maybe in a little strip, some capers if you're into capers, if not no, olives if you're into olives. Then I'm going to take my tuna steak which I've just cooked in the pan. I put a drop of olive oil, I squeezed the tuna on both sides with lemon, flip, flip on each side. I like my tuna a little bit more on the well side, I know, don't kill me, but if you like it make sure if you like it more rare, make sure you buy a higher grade tuna. And I'm actually just going to cut some slices and put them on top, take lemon, squeeze it and voila, I.Am.You's Ahi spinach salad. It's delicious and nutritious.
