Hi, I'm Jill Maria, and I'm a makeup artist and stylist at Salon 27. Today, we're going to talk about how to make your skin softer and close your pores. The first thing that we're going to do is take a cold washcloth. This one I've had in the refrigerator but you can take an ice cube or you can lay this in a bowl of ice water and you can apply it to the face for five to ten minutes which helps close the pores. Okay we're going to take the cloth back off. Like I said, at home you would leave it on for five to ten minutes and this is going to close her pores. The next thing that we're going to do is apply an anti-aging firming moisturizer and what you want to do is apply it in upward strokes on her skin, never pulling too much on the skin especially not the eye area. Apply it in upward strokes on the forehead and in between the eyes a lot where the wrinkled areas are. You want to pay close attention to make sure that you have those covered. This will just give her a softer look. Okay and the last thing that we want to do is be sure that we apply it to the neck. Anything you do to your face you want to do to your neck because your neck is one of the first places to show signs of aging. Okay, and that is how to make your skin softer and close your pores.
